Due to raised taxes the price of cigarettes in France went up the 1 of October. A price of Marlboro red now costs 6.60 euro which is pretty high even to be in Europe. Not if you compare to the most expensive countries like Norway and Australia though. Because of this a lot of French and Belgian newspapers and news sites, like Le Figaro, dh.be, bfmtv.fr and Midlibre.fr, are referring and linking to Cigaretteprices.net.

Gues these raised taxes for the price of cigarettes in France are need to go up for social development needs and for filling up the budget. It is fair that price of Marlboro red now costs 6.60 euro which is pretty high even to be in Europe but it is lower than for example in Germany. Anyway it is a hard case to smokers. Thank you a lot for sharing with us.

Smoking is a very bad habit. Raising the tobacco price is a very effective step taken by governments to reduce the smoking habit in its civilians. Thanks for sharing this page and creating a sense about the issue of smoking and tobacco.

Electronic cigarettes, or e-cigarettes, are devices for delivering nicotine vapour instead of tobacco smoke.
